AlphaHelix provides the means to rapidly detect and quantify pathogens, identify people and to improve gene analysis and genomic research.

Our proprietary technology, SuperConvection™, cuts thermal cycling times to seconds, enabling 40 cycle qPCR in less than 15 minutes including melt point analysis (see Fast PCR). High Resolution Melting (HRM) analysis is done in 3 minutes.

The AlphaHelix QuanTyper™ platform is focused on ‘Fast PCR’ and is based on the following two products:

•		QuanTyper™-48 – the world’s fastest qPCR instrument, running 20-200 µL PCR volumes in conventional 0.2 mL tube format.
•		Capillette®– a convenient reagent handling container, designed as a PCR tube lid.

Capillette simplifies and speeds up PCR reaction setup and QuanTyper-48 speeds up the PCR run. Capillette is emptied by centrifugation and, therefore, fits particularly well with QuanTyper-48, which uses high speed centrifugation to deliver the PCR reagents directly at the start of the run.
